Welcome back to Making Heaven Real. Do you watch the news? It's a loaded question, I know, but you know, when this old man was growing up, there were only basically three channels and three sources of news other than newspaper or articles or magazines, but now we're bombarded with everything. There's things called real news, fake news, artificial intelligence news, sponsored news, sensationalized news, commentary, opinion, propaganda, etc. Now with this program's absolute rule not to get into politics, it's hard to discuss some of the motivations behind some of these news sources. Let's just say that what you consider your news source has a lot to do with a lot of things and how you were brought up. Personally, my personal choice, I just don't watch news. My wife used to say bad news travels fast. Watching news, especially now, almost seems like you're preparing for a mission or a military deployment. You have to actively watch it, challenge it in your mind, determine if what you're seeing is even close to reality. Then you end up doing research to find out if what you're watching is actually real or not. And basically, it gets overwhelming. I know that's easy to say and not hard or not easy to live with or abide by, but the big thing is not to despair. One of the things that I ran across just this week, even had it on a hanging on a wall in front of me when I walked by, and it was the serenity prayer. For those of you who don't remember it, it's God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And wisdom to know the difference. That doesn't mean that that's the only place that that applies. So keeping the Serenity Prayer in mind, let's kind of review some of the key points that we have reviewed in each of the previous episodes that bring us to this point. You know, we are heavenly spirits that have been put into a human form and sent to this earth for a human experience. For that experience, we're here to learn, to grow, and mature. Early on, one of the things we learned about was heavenly equity. All of those things that heaven puts in place in order to answer a prayer, meet a need, put us in just the right place to do the right thing at the right time. We also learned that the only way that we can stop or control God is by our free will. God has no limitations except our free will. We are here on a pre-approved life's plan. One that we approved before we came here. Because of that, we discussed how there is no coincidence. Everything we run into is planned. We've also discussed our spirit team, how they're ready to help at any turn. Whether anything that we come into is pre-planned or not. We also discussed how my wife was removed early. That wasn't a part of her original plan. It wasn't a part of my original plan. But we reviewed how the spirit team jumped into action and took care of both of us and both of our life plans in order to compensate so that we can move forward. And finally we talked about are we feeding our spirit side or are we feeding our human side? And in that case, which one's winning? Given what we've learned over the last few several episodes, who do you expect would be the one resource to possess the wisdom to know the difference? Going back to our serenity prayer. And what would you think would be the most trustworthy resource to be our best guide to lead us to change the things we can? One of the things I ran into years ago, I think was actually attributed to St. Francis of Assisi was how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. On our current spiritual journey, a lot of us started in on this or were pushed into this a little more devotedly after a devastating loss in grief. But on your journey and on our spiritual awakening, do you find that maybe some of the closely held beliefs that you had early on have stopped working for you? Things that you may have been taught growing up don't provide the complete picture anymore. And without those missing pieces to complete that picture, do you end up feeling scared because you think you're alone? I think over our last several episodes we've kind of proven that's not true. But also are you afraid to relinquish control to your spirit team to do what is yours to do. That phrase in and of itself I think is very telling. If you go by the phrase that says to do what is yours to do indicates that somewhere someone knows what you need to do. We've already covered that. We talk about how your spirit team has your life's plan in front of them. They helped you create it before you came here. They know where you are on the plan and what's left to do, or what is yours to do as the statement says. Don't just read them, don't just look at them. But the process of speaking them out loud has a greater effect. So start your day each day with positive affirmations and start your day with positivity in mind and disregard the negative influences, which gives you a brighter outlook on everything that comes into your day. How can you take control of what comes into your day? Start each morning by asking your spirit team to take control. Yes, I mentioned it a little while ago. Are you afraid to relinquish control? Most humans are. Until you experience that something else can do that for you. I think one of the things that's kind of interesting is if you've ever been a student pilot learning how to control an aircraft. If you're in a car, you have left and right, front and back to worry about. If you're in an airplane, you have left and right, front and back, and up and down. More things going on, more things in your mind, more things to control. When your license is on the line, when it's up to you to safely control your aircraft, it's a little hard the first couple times that you engage autopilot because you're not sure that relinquishing that control can actually positively affect your cockpit time, your mental awareness, and keep you on the proper flight plan. After you do it several times and prove that the autopilot works properly on your aircraft, it's a whole different situation. Because you now know that this button takes care of a lot of things that normally would be a lot of effort on my mind and on my situational awareness that now I can relinquish some of that to another control. Again, we're back to aircraft analogies. But what happens when you take your situation and give the control to your STC? Let them lead you through the day. Let them plan your next several weeks. And let them take some of that mental strain off of you and some of that situational awareness off of you while they are in control. So you start your day positively. You start your morning asking your spirit team to take control. And spend the day shining your light forward from you to everyone that you come in contact with. Show them love, healing, and positivity. Going back to St. Francis of Assisi again, one of his famous sayings was start by doing what is necessary. This helps you with your being overwhelmed. Just start with doing what is necessary, then do what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible. Don't have to be overwhelmed. Don't have to feel lost. Just do what is possible. Do what is yours to do, which your spirit team knows and will help direct you. Even with all the activity in the world around us, we don't have to feel alone, overwhelmed, or lost. With the guidance of heavenly heaven and their heavenly equity from our spirit team, employing that on our behalf. We have everything we need to do what is ours to do. The rest we leave to heaven to handle for all of us. Just another way you can make heaven real in our world.
